Greetings! I’m Avi (she/her) - a mighty force in a tiny package.

I aim to put intention into practice, focusing on aligning our values with our actions. I appreciate the influence of narrative in change work and thrive in the liminal magic of transitions.

I hail from the village of Oak Park, IL — a diverse community where most people knew at least my mother’s name. I recently served as the Director of Community Well-Being at Mount Madonna Center, and continue to explore the question of how we can make intentional communities more accessible and sustainable as a lifestyle.

Employing emergent design, I hold space firmly enough to create a solid container for folx to feel at ease and loosely enough to allow the magic to unfold. With a community-building lens, I seek out opportunities for broader engagement to co-create collaborative experiences that foster connection, insight, and creativity.
